It hardly seems a year ago since we were greeting last year's Freshers but the best part of my job has arrived once more: greeting another group of new Furnessians who have been lucky enough to join the best College on campus.

This year we have colour-coded the blocks including the virtual block, Lowick, 'home' to our off-campus students.

This years intro week programme has something for everyone: salsa dancing, magic, fire-eating, and many other fun things as a backdrop to one of the most important weeks of your life, when you get to form friendships that will last for many years to come.
