Arrange occasional (eg termly) meetings with your group.

For the Part I tutees, we suggest that you meet them in the Michaelmas term just prior to the Christmas break, once around the mid-point of the Lent term, and once early in the summer term.

These are the times when students tend to be (eg) doubtful about whether they wish to stay at university or worried about their exams. Meetings with Part II tutees can normally be more ad hoc, or Part II tutees can be invited to join the Part I group.

Note that these are only suggestions — we recognize that tutors are busy and are best placed to decide the timing and frequency of meetings. Note also that the College will reimburse reasonable expenses if you choose to use a social or cultural event as a pretext to arrange a meeting.
