    Arrival and College Regisration: your first chance to meet the friendliest people in Lancaster: volunteers will be on hand to help you find your room; the porters will find you your keys; the college staff will sort out your College membership card and other bits of paperwork and admin...as well as a gift or two from the senior college...

    5.30pm College Induction: A [brief] introduction to the college and its officers followed by free food, games in the foyer and the area's best magician, David Lancaster. [COMPULSORY]

  • Monday 3rd October, 2011

    9am Safety Talk: An early start but something of vital importance. Learn about some of the critical aspects of safety within the College and University. This talk has the potential to save lives so is a must attend! [COMPULSORY]

    11am-1pm Registration: Yesterday you joined the College; now you get to join the University! Since graduates are members of the University you're signing up for the rest of your life!!! [COMPULSORY]

    3pm Meet the Majors: Still in the mood for joining things: next you get to meet your major department. [COMPULSORY]

    Social: A 'meet and greet' for International students, followed by a chance to get a proper feel for the University with a Bar Crawl for all around campus.

    9.15am - 5pm Part I Talks: Still not sure about your minor subjects: a chance to find out more about the subjects on offer and a chance to make an informed choice.

    Social: A bar crawl round Lancaster finishing at the Sugarhouse; or a Film Night if you fancy a cheaper night out on campus.

    9am-10am Part I Enrolment: You've chosen your three subjects, now its time to sign up... [COMPULSORY]

    11am-12.15pm Personal Safety Talks: A chance to learn more about some of things you can do to keep yourself safe whilst studying at Lancaster.

    1pm Personal Advisor meeting: A chance to meet your Personal Advisor (a senior member of staff designated to provide you with a friendly face and source of help) followed by lunch in the College foyer. [COMPULSORY]

    Treasure Hunt: A fun way to find your way round the College and campus courtesy of the Junior Common Room (JCR)

    Social: "Big Chill Night Pyjama Party" a more relaxed social in the bar; or if you fancy something more sophisticated, our Wine Steward will be hosting a Wine Tasting in the Senior Common Room (places are be limited and always go quickly so tickets will be on a first come first serve basis once you arrive).
